You can not leave the sides of the pool unfinished as plain dirt would most likely contaminate the pool with soil. Some pool owners would often have the surrounding area landscaped. These would include a walking area which may be laid with tiles, pebbles, stepping stones or a deck. Some would also add a few plants around the area to give it a more relaxing look and feel.
For you to be able to determine the actual cost of the pool you desire, you must be able to find out all of the factors which will contribute to the expenses of the project. Decide first on a plan or design so that it would be easier for a contractor to give you an idea of how much it would cost you for them to complete the project. You can also do some personal canvassing of how much the items required will cost for you to be able to prepare for the expenses.
