You might have heard about their institution before and thinking of considering the program for your kids. Before applying for one, you better check on some reviews and basic information online that will help you determine how much does Kumon cost. As parents, you only want the best learning institution for your kids so that they can grow to be educated and matured individuals in the future.

Founded originally in Osaka, Japan by a high school professor, Toru Kumon, the institution is now internationally known as one of the leading math and reading tutorial programs in the world. Kumon is actually an after school math and reading program that is designed to help your children enhance the skills needed to reach his maximum level of performance. It is now one of the world’s largest and the most established of its kind internationally.

Kumon is attended by children in the primary and secondary school. They also have curriculums for preschool children. It is always advised that parents start their children young. Starting at a young age will eventually help develop skills and get to the highest cumulative benefit. The institution is for kids who are quite struggling to catch up with their peers in school and also to those who wants enrichment exercises. The goal of the institution is to make students learn beyond their normal school age and have opportunities to attain their maximum potential.

Children have different characteristics when it comes to learning. There are others who can learn quickly and some who need a little more time. Others may view Kumon as a quick fix solution to their children’s intellectual problems. What most parents don’t realize is that learning is always an on going process and Kumon is not meant to be an easy solution to the problem. Parents are highly encouraged to enroll their kids in a 6 month term to a year before results can be evaluated. The essential thing that Kumon wants to leave as a legacy to their students is the development of a child’s study habit. In this way, a child is empowered so that he will succeed on his own and give him that sense of accomplishment to encourage him to do better academically.

So how much does Kumon cost? Kumon charges a monthly tuition fee of $105 per subject. Kumon price would also vary depending on the state where you reside. Aside from that, there is a one time initial registration fee of $50 ($100 for Junior students). There is also a $35 fee for all materials that will be utilized during the entire process. There is no charge for a child’s assessment and placement test fee. You may have noticed that Kumon is least expansive compared to private tutorial programs. Kumon is an institution that is committed to helping families regarding supplemental education for less. The institution has a systematic approach that is less costly compared to tutoring.

Investing in your child’s intellectual potential is always a good option. Education is one gift that they will forever be grateful for.
